Toolkit for Developing and Conducting Multisite Clinical Trials in Practice Based Research Networks
Interested in conducting a clinical trial in a primary care practice based research network (PBRN)? PBRNs are ideal settings for clinical trials, especially pragmatic clinical trials. This Toolkit was created to help researchers interested in conducting clinical trials in a PBRN setting to answer questions related to:
- Clinical effectiveness – Is a treatment beneficial?
- Comparative effectiveness – Are two treatments equally beneficial? and
- Safety – Are there harms to treatment(s)?
