Reusable OMOP and SAFTINet Interface Transformation Adaptor (ROSITA)
The Reusable OMOP and SAFTINet Interface Transformation Adaptor (ROSITA) is an innovation born of the DI collaboration with SAFTINet. OMOP stands for Observational Medical Outcomes Project.
ROSITA transforms identified data into a limited data set that is available for query by researchers. The steps involved are:
- Replace local codes with standardized codes
- Replace direct identifiers with random identifiers
- Support clear-text and encrypted record linkage
- Provide data quality metrics
- Push a limited data set to grid node for distributed queries
